Information for Community College Students
Transfer admission information is organized along the main criteria that the UCs consider: academic performance and extracurricular achievement. Academic Preparation reviews the general transfer requirements and information on AP credits, IGETC, GPA, and W/D/F grades. Extracurriculars discusses the type of extracurricular activities that are appropriate for transfer applicants and provides some information on UC-sponsored summer programs.
Aside from general admission criteria, you must also consider admission preferences of your selected UC campuses and your intended major. Admission Information presents these campus-specific and major-specific guidelines, admission stats, Transfer Admission Guarantees, and other admission preferences such as for veterans.
